The 8th Rules of a Bjj Academy (Fight Club Rules Model)

Welcome to the Academy. 

1st RULE: You do not talk about learning from YouTube.2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about learning from YouTube.
3rd RULE: If someone says "stop",goes limp, or taps out the fight is over.
4th RULE: Only two guys to a fight.
5th RULE: One fight at a time.
6th RULE: No shoes. Only flip flops.
7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.
8th RULE: If this is your first night at this Academy, you HAVE to fight.

Man, I see in this Academy the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. It's the ultimate tension and I see it squandered. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables - slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy s--t that we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war. Our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.
